  This is the movie my gf picked to watch, suffice to say this is why I pick the movies. Didn’t really enjoy the sound and how it was dubbed, the script was VERY basic. Could’ve been written by me in grade 10, no nuance at all. Definitely very creepy, and some of the acting/casting was well done.

  Lion king was my favourite movie growing up so I might be a bit bias. Generally I don’t like the live action of existing IPs crusade that’s going on but I like this origin story. A lot of people are siding with Scar as if he was robbed, but he was an undeserving prince and this was a brand new kingdom?

  Kind of an annoying one to review really. I really enjoyed most of the film up until the last sequence. The pacing was great, the scenes were gorgeous, the cast and acting was fantastic, with a killer story line including tons of political machination that made sense for the movie. However, the end threw me for a bit of a loop as it felt unnecessary and maybe even like someone was pushing an agenda? Idk man I’m new to this s**t
