  Love A24 and wanted to see what they'd do with a black coming of age movie. Waves is an honest depiction of the trails and tribulations that reverberate through our lives. Filled with almost unimaginable pain but also a great beauty.
  It was perfectly pitched between reality and melodrama.
  The performances were fantastic. The eerieness of an A24 never ceases to amaze me. And the bombarding soundtrack was gold.
  There was no other time of my life I needed to watch it than now.

  My favorites genre of romcoms is late 20th to early 21st century. They just don't make them like this anymore.
  Getting different insights on these kind of relationships is pretty interesting but I tend not to assimilate most of the information because I will literally overthink everything...
  All in all this movie was a wholesome comedical experience. My eyes hurt from rolling them so much, harry annoyed me in a way your male friends would do. The end had me giggling and kicking my feet and stuff. In the favorite file you go.
