When Tom and Jerry realize they actually fulfill each other and have more in common than they think lol.
*and the "bad guy" ends up ridding the world of an actual villain, while the "good guys" are too busy trying to catch him.
Also one of the best shootouts I've seen (or heard) in a movie; tactically realistic-seeming.

A great film that paints poignantly black womanhood, parenthood, and masculinity with tender and warm brushstrokes, but doesn't forget the grit at the heart of this Harlem tale. Teyanna taylor's acting holds the eye, the score is spare yet purposeful, and paired with the visual direction of the story, A Thousand and One might just slide in the Oscar conversation relatively unnoticed (if you even care about that lol)
