Definitely filmed and soundtracked in a scary way, but the outdated queer coded villain who communes with satan trope gets on my nerves. The ending leaves a lot to be desired and explained, what does Longlegs get out of murdering families? How did Longlegs become this way? Why would Lee’s Mother just offer complete service to someone trying to murder her daughter? Like the mom could have killed or turned in Longlegs at any point when her daughter was somewhere safe.
