  "presence" execution is way better than what "in a violent nature" tried to conceptualize, but i still felt underwhelmed because the family drama has no engaging chemistry for us to care, and there wasn't any suspense being build to justify its scary moment

  although french animation wasn't as profitable and popular as american animation, i still adore french animated film continue doing their own thing, in terms of pushing the visual boundary of an animated film can be like.

  "chicken for linda" treat their story like they were making a live action film, they never water down their subject matter just because it was in animated form, instead they let their visual style do the talking, allow the eye-pleasing texture gradually reveal surprising insights of the human condition along the way.
