  maybe could’ve gone without the multiple graphic sexual assault scenes like do men know they dont have to keep subjecting their female characters to rape to demonstrate how cartoonishly evil male characters are. and the revenge afterwards isn’t as cathartic as the director wanted it to be but i think that comes with the territory of a man trying to write a woman’s story about violent misogyny. rapace gave a fantastic performance though.
