Honestly I thought this movie would be a lot better. The characters lacked emotional depth or explanation behind why they were the way that they were and there was no real character development. The ending was especially unsatisfying given that the hot affair with someone younger than Romy lead her to finally figuring out how to orgasm with her husband, the same husband that had never made her cum in all 19 years of marriage. The fact that he forgave her didn’t make much sense either. I think they were trying to do too much with this movie and it fell flat.
