“What’s another ten pounds?” This film was more than I ever thought it would be. Elliot Page and JK Simmons were my favorite performances here and I loved the soundtrack. The chair/couch’s significance was so well implied and it’s appearances actually hurt me. I can’t help it but this film made me really sad. Might buy a pack of orange tic tacs tomorrow.

A rollercoaster — probably the best film I’ve seen so far this year. It was everything that Saltburn wished it was, from a criticism of how obsessed we are with money and material belongings, to a commentary on going down a deep tunnel of repressing our true feelings and thoughts until they choke us to death and everyone we love. It’s the gut-wrenching queer allegory that I needed yet never saw coming. Phenomenal acting and cinematography.
