Classic David Lynch. The background sounds of the radiator and industry makes the watch quite unsettling throughout. The mutant baby was so ugly that I wanted to punt it through the screen. Overall the movie does a great job at showing struggle with raising a new child and the real feelings that can be associated with that part of life.
Opening credit sequence was great just to drop us in horrible CGI for the first 20 minute fight scene. Very corny and overused cliches used throughout the movie. The movie follows a very similar plot to the OG to the point where it is extremely predictable. The main character has no character depth and the Mescals performance was average at best. The highlight of the movie was Denzel Washington and the shark battle.

An absolute classic. The animation of the settings were stunning and transport the viewer into the picturesque world of medieval Japan. The movie primarily deals with themes of man versus nature and balancing the benefit of your own people against those of another group. The main character Ashitaka has to choose whether to support his fellow humans in their quest to obtain resources from the ancient forest, or to help princess Mononoke and the forest deities to protect their sacred…
