    A beautiful story about grief and loneliness. It's frustrating to see a story told about somebody who can't help but be self-sabotaging and isolating, but that's what makes this film unique. Some people find themselves in the same rut. They can't help but not get better.

    WRITING (Ari Aster): This movie fucked me up. I am not gonna lie. The story is fucked and disturbing, leaving me uncomfortable the entire way through. However, objectively, the writing is solid.
