Director definitely leaned on the side of realism. The fact that each episode was a single, unedited shot definitely drew me to this. This style was strongest during the opening episode but i feel as if the effect lost draw as each episode went on.
In a world so obsessed with true crime, this series definitely showed the duller but realer elements of it. The awkward conversations, the denial, the regret, the silence.

i didn’t feel like it was as good as everyone makes it out to be? average storyline and the pacing was rough. accents were also silly.
What an insane movie. It doubles as both a thrilling film and a mirror to the society we all live in as it explores the intersection of different social groups. The plot and characters are developed so effectively and everytime I thought I knew what was gonna happen, it was something different. Korean films are just something else, man. golly.
