Jacob's Ladder 1990
I really loved this film. Few movies nail scares this way. There was a cerebral yet brooding quality to the film which is hard to describe. I feel like the end justifies this style as well.
The girlfriend is hot. She’s in a lot of movies too I don’t know the actresses name unfortunately. Tim Robbins is great in this but that’s not a surprise he’s amazing in everything.

Sunset Boulevard 1950
A masterpiece. Truly. A masterfully done social commentary on the effects of Hollywood, glamour, and fleeting fame on the psyche. Gloria Swanson puts on my favorite performance by any actor ever. Too many beautiful shots to count, and an ending that gives me the creeps to even think about. Nothing short of perfect.
