Low-budget horror done well — pacing, atmosphere, humanization of sex workers, all very solid. The only detractor was perhaps the ambiguous ending, which felt like a bit of a cop-out (as many “ambiguous” endings do).

Ultraviolet is so over-the-top that the incomprehensible nature of its narrative almost seems like a feature rather than a bug. It gets a lot of hate, but if you go in looking at it through a Lynchian lens of utter surreality, it’s actually a wild ride and quite a good time!
