What an amazing film. I really really liked it. I think if I was South Korean or East Asian and better understood what level of poverty Mr. Kim and his family were living in (or what a "semi-basement" is) I would have appreciated the message even more. I especially enjoyed the greyness of every character morally, and also liked that they managed a satisfying, somewhat happy ending in a film that could so easily have wallowed in the systems and struggles it shows and still have got its message across.

This movie verged on nostalgia bait, but the good kind. There were very obvious parallels and references to all previous films- and not just passing cameos or props either, but plot points taken straight from previous entries.
