Enjoyed the movie! Went in expecting a pretty nice anime film about a girl meeting two magical ocean boys which the first part of the film was. Then towards the end the plot takes an unexpected turn towards this whole existential angle about the universe with tons of trippy visuals which rocked. Pacing was a bit off in terms of it seeming rather sudden in tone shift but neat nevertheless

Really powerful documentary. Really like how the film shows the persistence of the Palestinian people with their efforts to find little moments of joy amongst all the horrific crimes they’ve experienced. Movie is shot and edited really well telling the ongoing story of Israel’s efforts to expel Palestinians from their homeland.

The adoption of the child also just felt kinda sudden after Camilas big fight with her partner (kinda wish there was a bit more in between there). Definitely something I’d like to eventually see again because I might change my mind about those pacing issues…

Really loved how as was discussed by the director and writers…
