Lost in Translation 2003
I am always intrigued by any and all art that takes on the theme of losing meaning in translation because there truly is so much nuance and poetic beauty that is cut out of that act of shifting between languages.

first few episodes were really strong!! themes were thoughtfully explored and I was curious about how the main characters who grew up in poverty would handle the pressures of suddenly being embroiled in the games of the wealthy. There was a real juicy atmosphere of suspense and intrigue and conspiracy that I loved and was drawn in by, given how most of us viewers probably can relate to the “eat the rich” vibes.
