  Growing up, I loved the book ‘where the wild things are’ and as I grew up I feel as though I lived out max’s story in my own way, with my parents divorcing and finding myself consumed in anger and frustration too, with no way to explain my feelings. I’m so eternally grateful for both the book and the film, as I feel it explains my experience and so many others to a depth even I can’t fully fathom.
