  this film felt happy, nostalgic. it was clear mattel propaganda but i just felt embraced in comfort, in childhood and thoughtless fun like i once knew. 

  the sentiment that our moms were little girls too and so on, that womanhood is universally understood and passed on from generation to generation like u do with ur favourite toy.
