Went into this expecting unapologetically gay and muscly version of Thelma and Louise, left feeling gaslit by all my fellow lesbians. The style and potential of the movie is way better than the actual story, the plot doesn’t hold, the characters are not explored in depth at all, the only unintentionally (?) realistic part of it was the depiction of u-hauling. And maybe we didn’t need realism but at least some complexity would be nice. It barely scratched the surface.…
