  A beautiful follow up to Palin Alto, I enjoyed this. I loved the unexpected MIley Cyrus original at the end. I love that I’ve felt this. In different contexts. I’ve felt it. I’ve avoided feeling it but I’m going to feel it time and time again. It’s part of being human.

  Nicely shot, bordering on the handheld ethereal mixed in with that classic Coppola Kodak style.

  I was sold on the opening shot alone. Body horror at its finest.  With an impeccable attention to detail, including just how on point the names of the characters are.

  This film is absurd, disgusting, laughable, too realistic, yet  twisted. It deserves a fucking Oscar.

  I want to write so much more, but in short - Neon Demon meets Black Swan, Trainspotting, Carrie, Kill Bill, The Shining, a hint of Love Island, and so much more.

  I’m a bit confused whether I wanted to give this one star or five. Three seemed like a cop out, and two felt rude.

  There was a part while watching this where I felt physically sick. But I wasn’t sure if it was because I drank too much juice before hand… This was Song to Song meets classic Yorgos, meets those ‘in a dark dark room’ short stories our relief teacher used to read us in year six.
