finally getting to watch this after the oscars and I'm disappointed... mickey madison did great but anora's character writing infuriated me. this girl is a smart sex worker but suddenly gives up her job for a man she just met and is so confident he'll come back for her? I know my girl is better than that. I did think the last scene where you can see her breakdown with what she's been given in life was the best one but the rest felt very convoluted?? most is focused on finding vanya while we get nothing on anora? where is the character background??
