with a familiar but overall appealing storyline, moon is an enjoyable dive into a futuristic vision of human labor. presenting us with some moral themes, this film raises questions about not only what it means to be human but also the cost of being one.
the directing is fine and the production design works really well (the shots of the moon in contrast with the starry sky create a black and white effect and really serve us some beautiful cinematography). frankly, without sam rockwell's riveting performance this movie would've been mediocre.
