  This kind of doppelgänger thing is often an overused trope that you see in two-sentence horror stories. But because this, like those stories, is just a fun bite-sized horror film, it has a certain charm about it. Kind of predictable in that sense, but not in a bad way necessarily. More in a 'campfire stories' way.
