Few movies will ever top the three headed snake that is PTA x Day-Lewis x Greenwood. This is just three masters feeding off each other’s brilliance.
A neon-infused odyssey that recalls films like Spring Breakers, Drive, and Enter the Void. The authenticity of the characters and the environments is amazing. This was clearly made by people who know the streets of NY very well. It brims with life — it feels alive. The entire film has a kind of punk-rock, improvised feel to it (apparently some of the scenes were shot guerilla-style with people unaware of the filming taking place).
Oh, and the music is incredible.
