This film was such an interesting watch! Felt deep and peaceful and yet also turbulent. It showed a lot while also not really showing much in some ways. The ‘chapters’ split up made certain scenes feel harmless when they weren’t by putting words with vastly different impacts next to each other.
Only reason I didn’t give it full marks is because you can still clearly feel it’s a movie made by a man with the classic theme of prostitution portrayed as usual through a male lense. It lacked the female touch and the authentic emotional reactions and depth that a woman’s perspective could have added.
