  a beautiful and charming live action cinderella which didn't bother to redo every single detail but instead go into the pieces of the story lost to disney's animated. the prince had genuine personality, cinderella was a starry eyed dissociation queen, and every appearance of the stepmother/sisters was comedic and not plain aggravation. there was actual effort put into the music, every melody was memorable. i can't wait to show my kids this
