  Death on the Nile 2022

  -Love the unique French noir style for the French war period in the prologue 
  -beautiful symmetrical shots all throughout the movie, like on the Karnak or the (ok CGI) illusion of the pyramids from above
  -some of the most interesting camera shots I’ve ever seen
  -incredible costuming
  -excellent accent and acting work
  -foreshadowing cleverly done with the champagne pop like a gunshot 
  -excellent music choices, well appropriate for the time period and I love how the songs have a phonograph…

  -Woody Harrelson should’ve stuck to playing Haymitch, not an alien serial killer
  -felt like it had the essence of a sci-fi action film but ended up being a bad comedy
  -the film built on too many other movies that I haven’t seen yet to understand the references or backstories
  -every character had an arc that was ruined

  Would not recommend or watch again
