  when i saw "The cook, the thief, his wife and her lover" i knew i had to see more of Greenaway. It's beautiful to watch, with pretty costumes and beautiful set, but it has a very ugly story. One of the last scenes actually made my stomach turn.
  A friend of mine introdused me to this movie and said that "it is the most beautiful blasphamy ever put to screen", and I may agree with him, but i don't think i'll watch this again anytime soon.
