I feel OD saying this, but I really didn’t like the movie. It’s great in many respects, but I hated almost everything about it. Too many toxic, unlikeable, sweaty, foul-mouthed men for my taste. Too many moments where the movie expected me to accept a world where extreme obsession overrides basic human compassion, and I just couldn’t. I don’t think it meant to glorify this kind of abuse and pursuit of greatness - but it didn’t condemn it either. I know it’s not quite that simple, but something in the narrative or tone of the movie kept that grey area from sitting right with me.

This was so fun!! A wonderful, chaotic, & hilarious ride- the characters were amazing and wow Mikey Madison absolutely crushed it.
Tbh though a part of me just keeps thinking of ways she could’ve hustled that family out of more money - or why didn’t she just refuse to sign the papers? But then again, without that, we wouldn’t have gotten that specular final scene in the car.

When I came home and was telling my mom (who knows nothing about the movie) the plot and how Kate can track the tornado my mom said “did she have to go left at some point when everyone else went right?” I was aghast… So this certainly isn’t unpredictable. But it was fun and Glen Powell was there in his cute jeans.
