EVERYONE must watch this movie. A highly original, slow burn movie that makes your heart ache from beginning to end. The film is soft and bleeds, a story about male friendship and the collateral of growing up as a boy and facing both toxic masculinity, pressure to fit into narrow standards, and what it means to be a man. Tender, heart-wrenching, brimming with truth that touches a deep part of what it means to love and to lose. You won't leave the theatre the same.

I thought the style of this was very interesting, and it wasn't what I was expecting from Edward Norton's directing style. But overall, the characters are all great and fleshed out, felt like it fell a little flat on really fully fleshing out the mystery element, felt like he was playing at that at times. A great watch however, and Edward Norton's acting is really superb (his character has Tourette's).

A heart warming tale from beginning to end literally. Such fun animation, Perrito is exploding my heart into a million tiny pieces, all the Shrek allusions were comical and nostalgic af, and the story was surprisingly challenging and complex, but truly just a feel-good well made flick from BEGINNING TO END.

One of the BEST endings to any movie I ever did see. Such a cool style, almost Greek tragedy with the grungy style of 90s Y2K. Such tender acting by Edward Norty's younger brother, and really just SUCH a good and engaging story from start to finish. You do not see the ending coming, but you TOTALLY DO.
