A heart wrenching and conflicting story that kept its Shakespearean roots in tact.
It was set up in acts, maintaining a play-like aura. I loved the mystical realism that demonstrated religious paranoia, while also keeping magical elements. The shots used dark color and contrast well. Overall, a great story that is beautifully told. It did take a little while for some themes to develop but I had no issue once it started ramping up!
