The Brutalist 2024
I’ve been thinking for hours about what I should rate this and I don’t have a fucking clue. I wish AI or the runtime were my biggest complaints. The Brutalist tightropes between a complex plot and an incohesive one and unfortunately it falls on the safety net midway through act 2. HOWEVER, giving this less than 3 stars would be a disservice to the amount of things they get right, make of that what you will.
PS: If Chalamet’s Dylan impression wins over Brody I might actually riot
