I feel like the genius, masterful underline is what this movie stands for, but what’s being underlined is abysmal. Massive caveat of message, which I guess is the point of any film, right? There’s really no sense of a plot other than the undertones. How else do I convey that?

Love a good one hundred minute runtime. But…
I think we lost the plot, terribly. But up until that, I was obsessed with Suspiria. I would recommend.
(…and honestly… 100x over again just for Tilda Swinton 🤱💌)
edit: To clarify my first and only point further, I think the feminine/masculine subtext of this film (mainly the former) is my main takeaway, and the lack thereof in the latter acts of Suspiria is presumably the catalyst for my disappointment. Dancing supporting ensemble witches, hints of MOTHERS, the aggressive dance style…
