This had so much potential. The Cuban history was well implemented but the general plot of the movie was the classic cliché zombie movie and did little to subvert the genre and was honestly a less funny version of Shaun of the Dead.

The Pope's Toilet 2007
It’s a heartwarming film but I honestly don’t think the cinematography or score did it justice. Most of the montages of Beto biking through Brazil and Uruguay rely on a lot of quick cuts and house music type beats? I just found it kind of distracting and it took me out of the film. Beto is also kind of an unlikeable protagonist and I get he’s a product of his environment but it just seems like he didn’t go through much character development during the film.

I loved everything about this movie. The script, the outfits, the structure, cinematography and score were 10/10. I think it raises a lot of questions about the ethical implications of AI and the divide between men and women in this country. The male loneliness epidemic isn’t real it’s self inflicted❤️
