  I would prefer the version of this movie where the characters are worse people. I felt like everyone was, at the end of the day, trying to do the right thing ethically and while it was (maybe) difficult to figure out what the right ethical thing IS, that was their goal. I wish more of the characters acted more unethically, they felt too noble and that didn’t compel me. I didn’t really buy Nicolas & Zoey’s performances, they’re solid actors but…
