    Not the best movie in the world, but it is legitimately funny. It does not show the American's attitudes to Europe in a good light, and in places it's so spectacularly inaccurate that it adds to the joke. The best joke in the movie IMO is when Rade Šerbedžija (Boris the Blade from Snatch) turns up the second time... But I won't give it away. Some people say this is superior to Road Trip. I disagree, that movie has a certain place in my heart. I can see why people like this, but I doubt I'll rush to revisit it.

    Both eerily prescient and ridiculously outdated, Videodrome was a movie that was even spoken about in hushed tones on the UK's Channel 4 TV station back in the early 90s. I never saw it as a kid but I'm glad I have now seen it.     I liked this. Ray Liotta is actually a stand-out in this, and really adds gravitas to the otherwise likely forgettable role. The film itself lacks something of a USP over other post apocalyptic prison movies out there. We've had Wedlock, we've had The Running Man, Escape from New York etc, and then there is this, which is on those themes but is a touch mediocre. It's not bad at all, but others have done it better. I was still entertained.
