watched this for psych class, and it was disgustingly eye-opening. i am even more firm now in my radical beliefs. we must take apart the system and build it back up, because it cannot go on like this anymore. my heart goes out to everyone failed by the law who was meant to protect them. especially to the poor who cannot ever defend themselves against the pigs of PH politics.

brilliant commentary of the ails thrust upon women in a capitalist society (disguised as a dreamy 00's romcom), where we are inevitably blamed for the ridiculous consumerism subconsciously instilled to us by no one but the big bad wolves of business. sadly it comes with the unintentional revelation that no one can escape from the system; rebecca selling all her things only fed into the addiction of other shopaholics. cute tho!
