  Really powerful, horrifying of course, account of fetishistic disavowal living a lie, calling it reality and demanding that everyone accept it.

  Höss I didn't notice, I was to busy imagining how I'd gass everyone in the room given the logistical problem of high ceilings.

  One you should definitely watch with flashes of genius. This must be the best cast of any film I've ever seen and the Harold Pinter script too at times is top notch. De niro enacting an imaginary scene that's reimagined later as reality is brilliant writing and acting and the film is worth watching just for the ping pong scene with Jack Nicholson. But there's too many longeurs of utter tedium. The love interest say the heart of the goon…

  Every clunky cliche in the book. Wants to be funny but isn't. Even Brendan Gleeson can't rescue this script but fortunately I watched it on Netflix so was able to fast forward the worst of it
