Alcarràs 2022
A great film about climate justice, centred on the troubled nature of transition to renewables when those impacted upon are not fully consulted or respected. We absolutely have to transition, but we absolutely have to do so by finding ways of tackling issues as a cohesive inclusive society. Maybe this is where climate assemblies can be so powerful and empowering. Filmicly the still centre is the young female teenager, but the characters are all powerfully drawn in a really captivating, visually affirming film.
