  Not my favourite of Gianfranco’s films but still commendable. His sensibility is unmatched. All interesting characters in their own regard. The types who don’t reside in the inner city where being conventional is quietly celebrated. The subjects' stories lacked the progression of his other films.

  The story of one, speaking for thousands of others. Powerful documentary subjectified through the existence of one soldier and his time serving in Afghanistan, juxtaposed with his recovery process back at home. The intercutting was powerful. While the cinematography and editing felt a little mediocre.
