This one is really mixed.
On one side - I am happy to see more than one Cybertronian in the movie.

Tom Hardy wasn't playing well, despite the fact that he can (watch "Locke", "Inception" or "Rock'n'rolla").
Venom is turned into a stupid freak.
Carnage is a one movie enemy, which is a pity. Although Carnage looks great (in the scenes where he is rendered enough).
Woody Harrelson acted cool, but the motivation of Casady is flushed into the toilet and turned into shit.
Toxin is here just for the point. There is no backstory about how Carnage…
Despite the fact, that this movie is just another superhero story, it is a huge step forward in the modern Russian filmmaking. If you look at the most of the mainstream films made in Russia for the last 10 years, you will get my point.
Also this movie has an original source - a great comic book from Bubble, that has developed its own universe.
