  The documentary left me somewhat puzzled. From the start, the director openly acknowledges that her choices were limited—she couldn’t freely decide on the destinations or the people she interviewed. This immediately sets the tone: the film is heavily orchestrated and controlled, much like other documentaries about North Korea that we’ve seen before.
