Like CODA, this is a saccharine movie with absolutely no style or personality or differentiating features. It’s another movie that looks and feels so bland. The cinematography might as well have been done by formula or an AI on default mode. It seems like Apple had success with Ted Lasso and leaned into the idea of becoming the Hallmark Channel of the 2020s.
