One Night in Miami... 2020
I always loved the song 'A Change Is Gonna Come' because I feel like there's more soul into it compared to other Sam Cooke songs and One Night In Miami just shed a whole new layer on why that song hits differently than the others. That last whole sequence made me feel like I’m a malfunctioning meter that keeps going up and down.

Visually stunning. A different kind of love story.
I'll say that the film has a rocky start that got me disinterested for a while but it picks up its pace after the first 15 minutes. I think what makes 'Your Name' work is how Makoto Shinkai effectively makes the viewers experience a well-braided combination of lifelike and dream-like states. At one point we feel like we are in a usual normal sunny day and in another we experience as if we are in a trance-like state of our characters. Amazing how this worked which I believe what made this film brilliant.
