  This movie better be looked back on as one of the greatest of the 21st century. Villeneuve is an absolutely incredible director that shows so much passion for his work and doesn't just try to play it safe and make the typical blockbuster film. The faithfulness to the original film, vast scale of this dystopian world, epic orchestral score and synth music, cinematography, set design, acting, and the complex, unpredictable story make this an absolute masterpiece. Also, Ana de Armas and Mackenzie Davis are incredibly attractive. I demand more movies in this universe.

  "I need you to wait for me. Okay? You're it for me, Lou."

  "It's okay."
  "What's okay?"
  "You saved my life. You made it...You made it beautiful. So it's okay."

  Those two parts definitely got me. This movie was way too sad. I can't imagine going through anything like that. Acting was phenomenal. The way they handled the sound, or lack thereof, was perfect.

  Ruben found that moment of stillness at the end.
