Cradle 2 the Grave 2003
It’s difficult to rate this movie. 3 stars doesn’t really describe my feelings about it. On the one hand it’s a terribly scripted and hack-directed movie. The action scenes are ok but watching DMX fight is really weird in this movie. On the other hand, it’s so perfectly of its era that it almost deserves five stars. This is a medium budget action flick starring two welterweight action stars with a completely unoriginal story that is NOT PART OF ANY FILM UNIVERSE. and there’s something to be said for that.

Killers of the Flower Moon 2023
This type of movie is so played out. This film especially just felt so tired, like all of the trailers for movies they showed before this one (The Holdovers [Alexander Payne], The Killer [David Fincher], Priscilla [Sofia Coppola]), and like so many other new movies I’ve seen in the last 5+ years… I just don’t think this format is exciting anymore.
