This is one of the greatest films I've ever seen. Those 3 and a half hours went by like 2, it's so intense yet easy to watch. It all works like clockwork and is one of the most masterfully made works of art. The first hour spent assembling the seven samurai and establishing the dire situation, the second hour spent becoming a part of the village and getting to know the diverse cast of characters; the quiet before the storm.…

Where do I even begin. This is a masterpiece like no other. I have never experienced a show quite like this. A magnificently well-written story and possibly THE most psychologically complex piece of media I've ever consumed. I'm so excited to check out Naoki Urasawa's other mangas because this man could shape up to become my favourite author of all time.
