I went into this movie without reading any reviews/watching the trailer, so I didn’t know what I was getting into.

I dont think I was in the right mindset to watch this, which likely contributed to my general “meh” feeling about it. 

The acting was great, the costumes were fantastic. It was believable. I appreciated the honest, unglamorous depiction of Diana’s ED. 

But the movie felt too charged for my taste, with few moments of air. The heavy string music didn’t help.

- the plot felt busy and slightly aimless. Certain narratives (essentially everything non-Gaga related) felt superfluous and made the movie longer than it needed to be

Super sad. Phenomenal acting.
