  The Banshees of Inisherin 2022

  Stunning a wild story about the friendship of two men on a small island in Ireland. Their drama stirs up the small town, and while portrayed in a serious manor, the dialog will crack you up and make you want to yell at the TV. I think it’s a great contender for best picture 2023. 4 stars.

  A sort of twisted rom-com, where you’re unsure as a viewer if you should be cheering on the romance, but you do it anyways. The characters are flawed but loveable. The setting and adventures they have are nostalgic and fun. 3 stars.

  A heart-wrenching movie about family and addiction. The acting was phenomenal. It’s sad, it’s happy, as a viewer you’ll want to give all the characters forgiveness and another chance. 4 stars.

  Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio 2022

  A phenomenal film! Uniquely adapting the story of Pinocchio into a whimsical and grounded setting. Loved the amazing sets and characters made through claymation, and loved watching the behind the scenes feature also on Netflix after completing the flick!
