Mickey 17 2025
That was fun! Rob was great - could really see the different characterisation of 17 vs 18. Also really enjoyed Mark and Toni’s portrayal of Scientologist / Musk / Trump freaks.
Loved the amount of Britishness in it - definitely felt like it was written by a Brit which obviously it wasn’t, but Rob definitely had input.
Third act with the aliens did feel a bit Marvel esque but they pulled it off. Dream bit was also odd, unsure of the purpose of that.
Overall enjoyed!

I'm Still Here 2024
Harrowing but in a very subtle and personal way which was highly effective. A true story of resilience! Want to learn more about South America in this period.
Thought the family was super believable and they really aced the bliss of family life without it being cheesy. Loved the outfits and thought the casting for the leads was very good.
Was a tad long.
